Blosser wins fight, Spinner rig the transition, Better ‘crawler action

Talking Josh Blosser’s insane comeback win in the Head2Head PWS event on Mille Lacs. He was sitting nearly 20 lbs behind Joe Okada with less than an hour to go (catch, weigh, release of every fish over 2 lbs) and caught some sort of NBA Jam type of 🔥🔥🔥 pitching a “blue bug” color 3.75″ Strike King Rage Swimmer on a 1/2-oz “blue shad” VMC Boxer Jig. 👀 Guess black/blue plastics aren’t just for bass!

Josh’s last scoreable fish was a 3-03 chunk that bumped him into 1st-place = a $35K payday. If my math is right, that walleye was worth about $686 per oz?! Lol.

It was heart-wrenching to watch this one slip away from Joe. But at the same time it’s downright unbelievable to (finally) be able to watch those kind of raw emotions – that happen on the water – live in walleye fishing (bass fishing has had it for a while).

Thought I was going to be the only person sitting down at the Bassmaster Classic in Fort Worth, TX watching a live-stream walleye derby 🤣🙋‍♂️ but I actually came across several other walleye nuts that were doing the same thing! Kinda shows the reach this thing can have – exciting times in the world of walleye fishing!

If you’ve ever fished the “night shift,” you know it makes everything 387% more difficult…and that’s just with a spinning rod. Keep after ’em, dude!!
